Purpose of use:    

Dark red amorphous substance, moderately soluble in water and well soluble in aqueous alkali solutions. It is reagent for photometric determination of Th, U, other actinides, Hf, Zr, РЗЭ and other metals; M (IV and V) are determined in strong acidic solutions - 6.10 M HCl, V (II and III) - at pH 1-4; detection limits are up to 0.01 mg/ml.
