Purpose of use:

Blue crystals that are soluble in water and unstable under light influence. It is a dye for food and ink manufacturing. It is a redox indicator in titration of strong reducing agents, such as compounds of Sn (II), Ti (III), Cr (II); acid-base indicator (pH 11,6-14,0, color change from blue to yellow).
